Seeking His Kingdom.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God,

And all other things shall be added unto you.
But it does seem like people want all the things to be added unto them,

Before they take that step in seeking God.

Seek His face, not His hand.

Seek Him,not just for what He can do for you

Seeking God is not a passive pursuit but it requires intentionality,

It requires effort.

That’s not to say that we in ourselves can achieve the art of finding God,
He shows Himself to us.

He,however,wants to see our level of desire

Do we love Him enough to forego the things the world sees as necessary?
The hype, the riches, the importance so many people yearn for?
We’ve heard time and time again that our God is a gentleman.

We can’t be seated in our favorite seats in our comfort zone and expect Him to barge His way in.

Now, let me not forget to tell you this,
The road in seeking God is not covered with Gold

No,that’s what we will see when we get to Heaven.
This road will sometimes have thorns and rocks,
There will be humiliation, pain, loneliness and times when you feel you’re in this valley of darkness alone
But remember that even when you don’t feel His presence,

He is still there.
Put your feelings aside,for we walk by faith,not by sight,and not by feelings.

Yes,and there will be times of death.

Not always physical

But some friendships will die

Some projects will die

But don’t fear cause we have a King who is the Life
Some of the believers of old literally had to give up their lives for believing in Jesus Christ

But we become depressed when we are unfollowed on social media.

This is not the way of the cross

A lot of us are guilty.

But that is why there is mercy

Time is ticking

My brother, my sister,

Let’s pick up the crosses we left behind

When we allowed the world to distract us from what we were sent to do
Let’s pick up our crosses and march forward,

Let’s keep moving

Let’s keep sharing the word.

Let’s keep doing good until our savior finally arrives or until we finally go to Him.
