Passions Merging

POETRY | PROMPTLY WRITTEN

In remembrance of J.K.

I remember true-blue
cascading waters
our stark nakedness
bobbing on currents
and we, still so new
laughing under the sun

I was raw from a demon’s love
gone horribly wrong
You were so ready to merge
inching closer, closer
your passion-play
slipping snake-like around me

Driven by lustful need
to feel wanted and loved
your desire echoed mine
your lips blushed and wet
as you pulled me in
for a lingering, breathless kiss
