:HONEST REVIEW DOWN BELOW:

This is my first book which I have read from Kandi Steiner and she gave me a shocker for sure when I read her acknowledgements. This is her 16th Book! I felt at loss when I read it but it has definitely motivated to read more from her. And honestly, she has added another sure-shot fan in her bucket list after this book. And before spilling the beans what I liked and may not have about this book in particular, I would love to thank Kandi Steiner once again, for trusting me with her Advance Reader Copy. She’s truly a gem, guys!

Moving ahead, as it is clear from the Blurb ahead this story is something walking around the grounds of Forbidden Romance, which without any doubt, is one of my favorites. Actually, every kind of romance is my favorite. But I have a knack for reading as much fucked romance you can write as possible. So yeah, that’s how I have stumbled upon reading the blurb of this book and signed up for an ARC copy.

So, our leading lady, Ruby Grace is the red hair small town girl who has a lot of aspiration up on her sleeves. But the world has so many other plans for her. She has to work up to the standards of being a politician’s wife and she thinks or has been made to think that she Anthony, the politician, is her one true love. Her mother herself had trained her to be just the exact copy of her personality, even though, there is so much in this book for Ruby Grace that would smite the reader from the first word and first scene that entails her entry.

Whereas on the other hand, Noah Becker is a complete opposite of what Ruby Grace has been portrayed in this book. He’s the sweet yet tough sibling of the all four. I have developed newly book boyfriend crush on this guy at the drop of a hat. From the scenes I’ve read, the way this man moves and talks has stolen my heart away, man, seriously!

To top it off, he knows how to make his woman laugh and be there for her always, like the ultimate support a woman would need from the guy she loves. But there are things he doesn’t know Ruby is capable of. He’s in love with a girl much younger than me and who is already trouble. The tension between both the families a bit because of the financial standards maybe which is not that much clear. Beckers used to rule the town once upon a time. Their name is widespread through their Whiskey now.

I loved how Kandi has built the background of both the characters and has not rushed at all at describing what’s going on and what has been the dire past of Noah’s family.

There has been some sad and pouty moment when I watched how Noah’s mom was still standing straight, raising the hell out of the 4 old and young boys. I am proud of the Becker family, truth be told. I wish I could cast them in real and with them. That’s how Kandi created her characters, so lovable and family-oriented for sure.

Moving on, the storyline goes smooth without any bumps. The only that’s disturbing is Ruby’s grace fiance. If you’re a lover of sexual tension simmering in the air between two lovers, literally till the end of the chapters, you grab this book now and begin to devour it at any which cost possible!!!
