A Dollar Every Friday for a Free Uniform Day Helps the Homeless

Synermed encourages its employees to give a dollar every Friday in exchange for a free uniform day. Furthermore, the company matches the contribution of the employees. Synermed believes that it is everybody’s responsibility to make the community a better place for everyone. When people are lifted out of their challenging conditions, their lives and the lives of those who gave are changed.

The proceeds of this program go to the SFC to help the disadvantaged and the homeless. In 2017, SFC received $10,180 from the program. According to SFC executive director Jose Ramirez, the organization is inspired to pursue its objectives when corporate partners like Synermed play an active part in fighting poverty and homelessness. SFC is encouraging other companies to follow in Synermed’s steps — to encourage their employees to give and then match their contributions.
